VR-Hut, Waterloo’s VR center—a must-try experience for groups!

VR-Hut, Waterloo’s must-visit VR center! Just a stone’s throw from Brussels,a new virtual reality centeropened a few months ago: VR Hut! Born from an idea by the founder of Belwatech, this brand-new venture has really caught our attention.
We wanted to know what made this game special—and, above all, what memories it would leave us with. Dive into the battle, become a troll-slaying archer, or survive waves of zombies. Whether you play alone or with friends, fun is guaranteed!

For everyone!
When we step insideVR-Hut, we’re greeted by Matthieu, the manager. He immediately invites us to take a seat in one of the 12 rooms designed to immerse users in the unique experience of virtual reality.
When we entered, we took our seats in the room. The room was divided into four sections, marked off on the floor. These boundaries had been carefully planned in advance so as not to disturb the other three players in the room or encroach on their “playing space.”
The available games include a variety of genres. We decided to start withOnward, a war game where we played in a 2-on-2 match.
VR-Hut prioritizes comfort during their sessions. That’s why you won’t experience—or will experience less— motion sickness, since all their games are automatically set to teleportation. It’s true that purists might not like this kind of thing. Nevertheless, this Waterloo center caters to the general public.
It’s important to note that whether or not you’re familiar with this type of gaming experience, it will still take about 15 minutes to get the hang of theHTC ViveProand understand how it works at VR Hut.
We then took part in a fortification defense following an invasion by trolls and other fantasy monsters. Our role? To protect the city using our archery skills! Once the game was over, we finally had a duel where all four of us faced off against each other.
This video game really put your body movements to the test—and before you knew it, you were sweating!
Once our session was over, we spoke with the manager to find out whyVR Hut is such an asset and THE PLACE TO BE in Wallonia—and even in Belgium.

Any reason is a good reason to visit VR-Hut
Whether it’s a bachelor party, a birthday celebration, or even a team-building event,VR Hut will give you the warm welcome you deserve! The reception area features retro consoles (SNES Mini and Mega Drive Classics), as well as a VR activity you can enjoy while standing on a balance board. With its friendly atmosphere and well-designed spaces,VR Hut prides itself on fostering a sense of community and encouraging group interaction. And even if you go alone, there’s always something to do there! In fact, we noticed that the virtual reality center was hosting a small archery competition where the winner could even take home a small prize.
What do you think of this center? Would you recommend it or not?
Although this is a fairly new business, the manager and staff are simply very welcoming, and the setting is perfect for virtual reality. The equipment is top-notch, and the focus is on user-friendliness and the multiplayer experience!
VR Hut is just a stone's throw from Brussels and very easy to reach from the highway. So there's no excuse not to stop by!
