Team-building Activities in Brussels and Walloon Brabant, by Team Size
Are there 6 of you or 60? The right setup depends on the group size. Here’s how to organize a virtual reality team-building event in Waterloo for 5 to 80 people, with 18 headsets available for simultaneous use.
Four team sizes and four ways to play
The number of headsets sets the pace. As long as there are 18 or fewer players, everyone plays at the same time. With more than 18 players, teams take turns, and the activities surrounding the game take up more time. Each format below links to a quote so you can specify your project.
5–10, 10–20, 20–40, 40–80 people.
Small team: Everyone plays
With 18 headsets, your entire team can play at the same time. This is the ideal format for a VR escape game: each game is played with 2 to 4 or 6 players, depending on the title. Frozen Castle supports up to 8 players, but we recommend playing it in 2 groups of 4. For a more competitive game, Arvi Arena supports up to 8 players.
Average team size: up to 18 at a time
With up to 18 people, no one has to wait. Smash Point can be played with up to 17 players—enough to host a tournament between departments. With 19 or 20 players, two people take turns: the lounge, the bar, and the retro consoles keep them occupied while they wait for their turn.
Large team: We play in waves
For groups of more than 18, teams take turns in one-hour shifts, with entertainment in the lobby and retro consoles available between games. For example: for 32 people, plan on 2 hours of play time so that everyone gets to play for 1 hour, which means spending 2 hours and 30 minutes to 3 hours at the venue.
Very large group: 30 to 45 minutes each
For groups of 40 or more, all stations are in constant operation. We typically allow 30 to 45 minutes per person to ensure everyone gets a turn, and booking the room exclusively becomes the most convenient option. The maximum capacity is 80 people.
A format that doesn't depend on your experience with video games.
Each session follows the same format: welcome, briefing by the facilitator, team activity, and then back to the lounge. The game is played while seated, using teleportation when necessary, and the headsets are displayed on screens so that colleagues who aren't playing can follow along.
For key events during a corporate day, the meeting room and lobby are equipped with a projector. Catering can be arranged based on a quote, such as a standing dinner. School groups are welcomed just like corporate teams.
Would you rather not come in? The team will bring their headsets: see VR-Hut outside. For a year-end party, the team-building page details the packages and their terms. And if you’d like to give your employees a gift, there’s the gift card.
