Virtual Reality Birthday Parties Near Waterloo, by Age Group
An 8th birthday party and a 16th birthday party are two completely different things. Here are the games and party formats that work best for each age group at our Waterloo location, which features 18 headsets and a birthday party room.
Depending on the age of the person being celebrated.
Ages 7 to 9: Gentle, team-based games
Four games are available for children ages 7 and up: Frozen Castle (an escape game for up to 8 players), Jungle Quest (a low-intensity family adventure for up to 6 players), Plush Rush (defend your room against toy soldiers, for up to 6 players), and Christmas, where teams work together to save Christmas. Children play under supervision, and parents can follow along on the screens.
Ages 10 to 12: Arcade Games and the First Escape Rooms
For ages 10 and up, there are more options: Arvi Arena (up to 8 players), Smash Point (up to 17 players), Elven Assassin (up to 4 players), or escape games like Alice. The House of Fear horror games are for ages 12 and up only.
Teens: Challenges and Thrills
Teens play everything in the catalog. They love competitive modes and thrilling games. All the details are on the teen birthday page.
Adults: with friends, without children
An adult birthday party is like a night out: a team escape game or arena escape game, followed by a night at the bar. See the adult birthday party page. For a bachelor party or bachelorette party: Bachelor Parties and Bachelorette Parties.
The three packages in the catalog
There are three package options: Play (for 2 or more players), Play, Cake & Drink (for 4 or more players, including a cake, a drink, and a bag of chips per player), and Play Private (private room, for 8 to 80 players). Details and prices are available on the birthday page and the price list.
The birthday party room can accommodate up to 20 people for gifts and cake. You can also download the invitation card from the birthday page.
What You Need to Know Before Booking.
The lounge and bar provide a quiet place to wait while the children play. If a child isn’t feeling well, they should tell the activity leader: mild dizziness or a headache can occur. Virtual reality is not suitable for people with epilepsy or neurological disorders.
