VR-Hut: Virtual Reality Arcade and Entertainment Center in Waterloo
VH-Hut is a recreation center located just a few minutes from Brussels in the town of Waterloo. It offers a wide variety of virtual reality games that can be played alone or with others. It’s the perfect place for individuals looking to have fun with friends or family—or even host birthday parties, bachelor parties, and more—as well as for professionals seeking to build team cohesion through team-building activities.
With nearly 30 games to choose from, there’s something for everyone. VR-Hut offers two main categories of games: the first consists of arcade-style games (e.g., shooters), which can be summed up as “a way to let off steam” and “a lot of fun.” The second category, 100% virtual escape games, focuses more on “strategy” and “teamwork.”
The History of VR-Hut
Founded by Arnaud Percy, VR-Hut opened its doors in October 2018. Conveniently located in Waterloo near Exit 26 of the Brussels Ring Road and featuring easy parking for players at the back of the building, our VR-Hut venue is a victim of its own success.
In late 2018, less than a year after opening, the company decided to expand, doubling the gaming area from 300 to 600 square meters and increasing the number of headsets (equipment used for virtual reality gaming) from 8 to 21.
Since September 2021, Arnaud Michel has taken over the reins. Arnaud is the manager of VR-Hut. He works with a team of about ten students who are there to explain the games to you, help you get into the spirit of things, and assist you if you need it. This way, you can enjoy an unforgettable experience in our virtual reality room.
What does VR-Hut offer?

VR-Hut offers virtual reality games and experiences. Wearing a VR headset, you can play alone or with other players. VR-Hut provides a fun way to spend time with friends or helps companies organize team-building events.
You’ll have the chance to try out virtual reality through a wide selection of games and experiences of all kinds. Explorations, interactive videos, kids’ games, shooting games, action games, adventure games, and more…
Outdoors: VR in your own home!
VR-Hut also offers events at your company or home for parties or birthdays.
We take care of everything: we bring our headsets, a tent, sensory experiences, and games.
We can set up in a garden, a large living room, a garage, an office, or an event hall. We’ll host the event for as long as you’d like.
We need:
- an electrical outlet
- Wi-Fi (optional)
- 9 square meters per VR headset. (3m x 3m is ideal)
- One (or more) of our awesome hosts to get you pumped up!
Each user has their own gaming space. They can move around freely and experience the best that traditional virtual reality has to offer. The equipment used (HTC VIVE PRO virtual reality headsets) is state-of-the-art and provides total realism and immersion.
